Hayley orrantia is a native of America. She's primarily an actor, however she is also a singer and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. Music has always been her first passion. After she turned 12 years old, music became seriously enough that she began professional training. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded her first album of covers at the age of 14. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia was born in the USA, yet holds Hispanic heritage. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico, she still feels very proud about her Hispanic culture. To keep her heritage, she's learned Spanish and created songs that are in Spanish. 'Hasta Verte' a song she recorded in Spanish is one such attempt. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere Season of The X Factor. Orrantia had been chosen by a panel of YouTube videos and got the four "yeses," from judges at Seattle during live audition phase. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions during "Hollywood Week". The live performances were held in the 5th week.
