Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Margo Hanson on the Syfy television series of fantasy dramas 'The Magicians' (2015-present). She was previously is a Lebanese American teenager Jasira Maoun (13 years old) which is the protagonist of turbulent life in the aftermath of when the U.S. invading Iraq during the Gulf War, in Alan Ball's film "Towelhead" that earned her recognition. In the following year, she was selected as one of 'Variety's 10 Actors to Watch' back in 2007. She played another powerful character, Taslima Jahangir, in the 2009 crime drama film 'Crossing Over', for which she was nominated in the 'Independent Spirit Awards in the 'Best Female lead' category. As well as starring in a variety of films like Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake, she has acted as a guest star in several television series and played recurring roles in several other films.
