Annie Mist Thorisdottir is an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is the only woman in history to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. She placed second in the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an avid CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity TV personality. The media acclaim she earned came from her becoming the first woman to have been awarded twice at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she is famous as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her both her parents and siblings was raised to Reykjavik Iceland. She was a keen sportsperson and worked out from an early age. As of 2009, she participated in the CrossFit game in California. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. She is 5'7 tall and weighs approximately 67 kilograms. Annie started with her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. She did well on her first competitions and finished in the top 10. However, she was unable to claim any titles but ended up in 11th place on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen coached her to an overall second place at the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. Because of her impressive performance, she was able to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie, who had outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to be crowned the winner of each of the CrossFit Games. Silver medals were awarded in 2014. In 2021, she was awarded a Bronze medal at the CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has led her to become the spokesperson for many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb.
