Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she trains athletes. Annie is the first female to take home the CrossFit Games twice. She came in second place at the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. She was the first female to be awarded in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. Annie was an avid sportsperson and began working out at when she was a young age. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years (as as of 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in California in 2009. Annie had an impressive performance at her very first games. She placed at the top of the list in 70 athletes. She did not manage to get any results from this tournament and she ended it with a ranking of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's supervision. In her second year that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she became the very first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 led her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. Silver medals were awarded in 2014; and in the year 2021 she received an award of bronze at CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her. Annie, who is gaining notoriety for her athletic talents, is featured in ads for sporting products like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and many more. Some 2,000 people have subscribed to her own Youtube Channel, where training videos, travel vlogs and family videos are shared.
