Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for the past forty years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in a number of Broadway performances before she was an international star with Li'l Abner in 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina in the same year. Louise began her journey into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden, a character from God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber rather than her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition for herself as a director of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
