Ina Garten is an American author of cookbooks on cooking and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons till 2020. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget documents. She initially found her career interesting and stimulating but eventually lost interest and bought a small food specialty store known as Barefoot Contessa. Her store was extremely successful for 18 years, until she made the decision to close it. After that, she started her first cookbook. Numerous magazines and cookbooks were later published. The Food Network television program also was launched and soon became a hit. Her range of items spans from kitchen equipment to ingredients and storage containers. Ina she has not attended any cookery schools or worked in a restaurant and is completely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her effortless way of entertaining and easy cooking. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet with Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
