Zoe-perry

Perry is Perry is a Chicago native, she was born into Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first television appearances were as Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the character. She was not allowed to start acting with her parents till an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the stress it would result in. Perry, who was too shy for acting in school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry was a graduate of Boston University, relocated in New York in search of TV roles. She landed small parts on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness led her to California to find theater work. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway as a couple as part of The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she performed with her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's crime thriller The Family. In 2017, Perry had the role of a political thriller Scandal with her father. Also, she was cast on her role on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. The role was selected by auditions, even having a strong connection with it.
